The Wagnersgrube is a former bog iron ore mine. Today, it's an idyllic biotope where nature has reclaimed its space. Surrounded by rare vegetation, the mine offers an exciting blend of geology and history—the bog iron ore mined here is a pea- or bean-shaped concretions of lignite ore. 🫘🌿

The fountain is not located directly on the side of the road and therefore invites you to linger and relax.
