The forest is beautiful, with many ancient tree species. However, I wasn't able to complete the entire circular route. My guess is that part of the path is overgrown.

A large boulder that is almost buried in the ground in the Grevenriede near Ebstorf is surrounded by a legend. Apparently the entire castle sank in a storm. The stone can still be seen today.
