The Dachsbach stream is first documented in 1129 – a knight named Heinrich von Dahspach sold one of his properties to the St. Michael's Monastery in Bamberg for 80 silver marks. The place name derives from a watercourse of the same name, the prefix of which may be dahs (Middle High German for "dachs"). Accordingly, it could have referred to a stream where badgers are found.[7] The town's coat of arms also refers to this meaning.

From the Hofmann brewery, the cycle path runs eastwards on the former railway line to Gerhardshofen

The cycle path is parallel to the main road, is wide and the surface is without major damage. In the beautiful surroundings, cycling here is really fun

Unfortunately, Komoot makes a small error in the route planning. Previously, the road crossing was above ground, over the main road. This is still indicated when planning with Komoot. So you have to think carefully here in order to drive a few meters further through the tunnel. :)
