The town of Adorf/Vogtl. erected a new observation tower in Remtengrün in 2020. This is the fourth tower to stand at this location. The tower is open to the public and can be climbed for a small fee of €1 (turnstile). The tower is 18 meters high and has 96 steps and 16 platforms. The historic railway depot is located on the line toward Plauen, about one kilometer from Adorf station, and is connected to the station by a 1-kilometer-long connecting line. The depot, built in 1909, includes a 20-meter-long turntable with a 12-station roundhouse, a water crane, a coaling station for steam locomotives, and various outbuildings.
