A beautiful island with a great circular hiking trail.

the whole coast is magnificent

The short hike on the island was a very nice addition to a boat trip on the Gulf of Morbihan from Vannes. For me, this type of tide-taking was completely new over 100 years ago. The tour, and especially the island excursion, is highly recommended.

A top-notch, sheltered beach with turquoise water and a gradual entry into the water. Paradise.

Built in 1070, this church is the oldest on Belle-Île-en-Mer. It is located in Locmaria, in the east of the island.

It is neither a stella nor a construction of the Second World War intended to test the speed of ships. It is a beacon (marine marker) intended for boats approaching Groix. As evidenced by the black and white paint affixed on the sea side (like most lighthouses)
