A little way from the city center, accessible via a beautiful cycling and hiking path directly along the river.

A large park by the river, right next to the old town. The park was significantly improved for the 2012 State Garden Show and is still very beautiful. It features many walking paths, a swimming pool, plenty of seating, small footbridges over the river, and much more. A great example of how garden shows can have a lasting impact 👍.

Erzgrube

Carriage from the former Altensteigerle. The current cycle path was the original route of the narrow-gauge railway from Nagold to Altensteig. For those who enjoy model railways, the entire route has been set up in Altensteig. https://www.dasaltensteigerle.de/

A perfect bike path: very good asphalt and nice and wide. And completely safe from cars and motorcycles, plus the scenery is beautiful.
