The fountain is called Pferdebrunnen (Horse Fountain), not Pfordsheimbrunnen (Pfordsheim Fountain). A beautifully framed spring near the Hermersberger Wasserhaus restaurant.

A great place to stop for a bite to eat, with light and light meals. The outdoor seating is lovely. The food was delicious.

Horbacher Mühle is open again. Alpaca hikes are also available from here, by appointment. A great experience for families.

A place to linger on the Rodalb River – a new seating area invites you to pause. Since May 14, 2025, a lovingly designed seating area has enhanced the popular bridge crossing on the Rodalb River. Directly next to the babbling stream and surrounded by lush greenery, a weatherproof rest area with solid wooden benches and a table was built at this idyllic spot – a place to take a breather, have a picnic, or simply enjoy nature. What makes this place special: The new seating area was installed by volunteers – a strong symbol of civic engagement and a vibrant community. Thanks to the "Häädler" (sorry if the spelling is incorrect), another resting spot is now available for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers.

Very nice hike past rock formations and very well signposted. Not suitable for strollers.
