Great bike path along the road. Really great.

The asphalt is poor and bumpy in the residential area. Be careful when cycling downhill, as there are some corners with poor visibility near the entrance to the residential area. I don't particularly enjoy riding this bike path.

I can only partially share these impressions. The bike path is enforced on the northbound cycle path by sign 254 on the HVS, although it only partially "accompanies the road" (although one sign for 254 is positioned/rotated in such a way that it actually blocks the bike path...). The HVS mostly has a 50 km/h speed limit, later on it is 80/60 km/h. The approach leads through a residential area with poor asphalt and a gradient. If I have the choice, I prefer to bypass the corner.

With a great view of the skyscrapers, it is one of the most beautiful canal sections.

Along the Schwabach you can practically walk along the water through Erlangen.
