This section of the trail is lined with many oak trees. Oak fruit is a favorite food of wild boars. Their tracks can be seen everywhere along this part of the route. Even the paths are not immune to burrowing marks. Therefore, especially in spring (from April onwards), you should be cautious if you happen to encounter these rather shy animals and their young piglets during the day. It doesn't happen often because they tend to laze around in their hiding places during the day, but encounters are not without their dangers.
