Inside you can see the remains of a pre-existing church built, according to tradition, on the site where Saint Peter landed on his journey to Rome, driven here by a storm where he celebrated mass. All this and other events are narrated by the Lucca painter Dedato Orlandi in the frescoes of the central nave.

Beautiful cycle path that leads from Pisa to the sea: Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia. A bit complicated due to lack of signs to get out of the center

Modern, comfortable cycle path with a beautiful view. Accessible to all. At the end towards Tirrenia/Marina di Pisa there are facilities in case of punctures, flat tires etc.

Lots of water turtles directly under the bridge 🙋‍♂️
