This church on the town square of Zell am See is one of the most venerable churches in the Pinzgau region and has its roots in the 10th century. Only the crypt remains of the Ottonian hall church from that period. The current structure, a three-aisled basilica, was expanded in the Gothic style up until the 13th century. The imposing west tower and the west gallery are impressive examples of Late Gothic architecture. Inside, you will find neo-Gothic altars and beautifully crafted stained-glass windows.
