Suspended between lake, vineyard and mountain, the medieval village of La Neuveville is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. In the old town, enjoy the beautiful colorful facades, the superb views of the cliffs and Lake Biel, and the small cobbled streets.

Superb path through the wild gorge to reach the summit of Chasseral. There are some technical passages, with three ladders to climb. The path can be very slippery in rainy weather.

Sensational views from here into the Mitteland, the Alps and the surrounding Jura.

Nice little town, where you should slowly roll through so that you can take in all the impressions. A bike shop with beautiful bikes invites you to take a break.

The old town of La Neuveville is tiny and limited to a few alleys. The colorful facades are wonderfully refreshing to see. It's just a good thing that not every house has been renovated to a high gloss, so you can still see the original patina of the past in many corners. Anyone who pays their respects to the city should take some time for good food, wine and viticulture, i.e. the green vineyards above the city.

If you walk down the ridge from the tower to the east in April, you will inevitably enjoy the large fields of daffodils around Les Prés-d'Orvin. Beautiful combination 👍🏻
