Use the different hiking trails to reach the top of the Chasseral 🥾. The routes are well marked and offer different levels of difficulty, so there is something for everyone.
Once at the top, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding Alps and the Jura Mountains 🏞️. On a clear day, you can even see as far as the Vosges and the Black Forest. There is a mountain restaurant near the summit that offers regional specialties 🍽️.
Respect nature and take your rubbish with you 🌿.

The Chasseral, at 1606 m above sea level, is considered the crown of the Bernese Jura.
The view on both sides of the mountain ridge is a dream, especially in clear weather conditions. From the Jura, the Vosges, the Black Forest, the Swiss Mittelland to the Swiss Alps, everything of note is represented. A hotel near the striking radio tower invites you to linger. The sun terrace is particularly popular. You can reach the top of the Chasseral by car or by post bus. However, if you arrive by car, you must be sure of your saddle when crossing the narrow mountain road. There are no bulges to help you with this. The landmark of the region, however, is the striking radio tower. It can be seen far across the country. It cannot be climbed.
