Alternative to the K53 - the cycle path is good, but the road is quite busy...if you want it a bit quieter, you should take the few meters to the Elbe-Seiten-Kanal and then turn towards Echem - see screenshot as a tip: it's 1.5 km longer, but what is the condition of the road along the Neetze Canal up to the Elbe-Seiten-Kanal??? as no photos have been documented there so far - as well as the access to the dike section.

Cycle route signs make it easier to find your way. Green and white signposts mark the routes and provide good orientation. Cycle route signs point you in the direction of your next destination and indicate the distance. This makes it easy to find your way. Small pictograms are also attached to the themed routes. The signage helps you stay on the right path, even without a map.

Back roads as you would wish for them! Excellent section that should definitely be taken into account when planning your route. Good asphalt, no cars and in a natural environment.

Quiet, beautiful route. Easy to drive. Far from traffic.
