You cycle along a causeway along the Baltic Sea and Nakskov Fjord. It's the Danish Baltic Sea Cycle Route N8, and it leads to Nakskov. A beautiful town.

Nakskov Fjord is Denmark's most island-rich fjord. You can observe numerous waterfowl here, as well as fish, crabs, seals, and porpoises. If you visit the fjord at the right time of year, you have a good chance of witnessing the Danish natural spectacle "Sort Sol" (Black Sun). When flocks of birds gather here to overwinter and fly through the sky in the low sun, the sky appears to be darkening.
