Møns Klint is a beautiful place. It sits in a forested coastal area dominated by a dramatic 6-kilometre stretch of white chalk and limestone cliffs. The cliffs, over 100 metres high, perch over the Baltic Sea and are known as one of Denmark's premier natural landmarks as well as being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Geo Centre is the hub of the area, and it hosts a modern, informative, interactive museum which features displays on the geology, fossils, and the creation of the chalk cliffs. There are plenty of walking trails in the area, which include the forest as well as along the beach. In addition, there is ample parking, on-site toilets, and a cafe. There are also regular buses from the nearby town of Stege.

Møn's only winery is run by a very personable winemaker who took plenty of time with us. He showed us the vineyard, told us a lot, and finally tasted the wine with us. The highlight is the Mølle Port, named after the mill gate in Stege, thus a valid reference to the fact that it is port wine.

The most beautiful castle I know. Touching in its half-timbered Biedermeier style and pocket-sized size. An enchanting building set in a magnificent garden.
