A new habitat for sand lizards was created in 2012. The relocation of the old habitat to the site of the current Leimen wastewater treatment plant was apparently successful; there is evidence of an increase in the lizard population, which is strictly protected in Europe, following the relocation.

The material cable car, which began operating in 1917, was discontinued in 2023 and has since been partially demolished.

There are a whole range of sports facilities here, including the Leimen Sports and Swimming Park, the State Tennis Performance Center and the Otto-Hoog Stadium.

This is not a historic fountain, but a planted gondola of the former Nussloch-Leimen material cable car, which ran in the immediate vicinity of this gondola.

The Georgi Market Square is one of the centers of the city's social life. The development has existed in its current form since 1992 and was designed as an “experience space in the city center”. The St. George fountain in the middle of the square, designed by Prof. Gernot Rumpf, depicts, among other things, the dragon slayer St. George and a water-spouting dragon. The bronze animal motifs, which can also be found on the St. George fountain, are typical of the artist. Find the fountain again.

After a historic renovation and modernization in 1992, the large festival hall with its multiple hipped roof, large arched windows and low corner towers once again shines in warm yellow tones. The building was roughly modified in the 1960s, particularly on its front side. The modern solution with a glass canopy and the inclusion of the outdoor facilities is based on the original. The forecourt and the entrance are designed so that they can be included as a space for celebrations. With its strong symmetry and the sweeping and lush roof design and its many porches and bay windows, the house appears inviting and festive after decades of being in danger of falling into disrepair. The large ballroom with space for around 650 people is spacious and flooded with light. It has excellent acoustics. It is surrounded by a wide gallery. Its parapet is decorated with decorative stripes in Art Nouveau style, and many shiny gold details adorn the walls. The colored arched windows in the top row are new, but they incorporate Art Nouveau motifs. The locations of subsidiary companies are shown as coats of arms in the window arches. The house offers additional rooms for smaller events. Some of the stairs in the rear area have largely been preserved in their original form. The outdoor areas with park-like green areas and a lovingly landscaped kitchen garden stretch up the slope. They are also redesigned. They lead into the spacious garden below the former management villa, which was completed in 1911.
