The Schweppermann cycle path runs between Högling and Hiltersdorf past the idyllic Teufelsweiher pond. The western part is a bit more demanding, the eastern part runs on level ground through the Amberg-Bodenwöhrer Bay.

Always worth a visit ! Pure nature, many birds can be observed. With luck even kingfishers! Maybe bring binoculars. Relaxing calm from hectic everyday life, "natural" background noise - except for the sometimes passing train of the railroad - the birds no longer bother. Good scenario to "come down"!

A Hüll or Himmelsweiher - i.e. a body of water with no inflow or outflow - is located here at the site of a former settlement called Eggenberg.
