両生類の池のすぐそばに、カエルの彫刻があります。美しくデザインされており、池の生命を示しています。また、池にはたくさんの金魚が住んでおり、たくさんの昆虫が飛び交っています。休憩に最適な場所です。

The steles are meant to represent a barcode that we see on almost every product today. The sculpture is meant to represent the goods that were once transported along the Hohe Straße.

This beautiful rest area was built in cooperation with Effolderbacher Waldgesellen, the town of Ortenberg, the Nidda Forestry Office and the German Forest Protection Association, for the International Year of Forests on June 5, 2011, the Effolderbacher Forest Festival.

I was able to enjoy a great view of Effolderbach and the surrounding area. In the mailbox on the central post there is a book with a pen for entries and a refreshment in a green bottle.
