It's a welcoming place to linger and soak up the atmosphere. There's a campsite near the bridge, and there's a small café there.

Imposing structure. Looks like it's from another era. But it serves its purpose. Caution! It's very narrow. You can't cross.

Passing through one of its two fortified gates, you find yourself in the medieval town of Le Landeron, on a huge central square decorated with fountains and lime trees and surrounded by old houses. 👍
