A spectacular mountain lake located at the foot of the Dents du Midi, offering impressive views of these mountains as well as the wider Valais region. The lake is quite accessible, with a solid road connecting it to the town of Martigny, making it a popular destination during the summer months. This route is a great climb and an even better descent, allowing a diverse range of cyclists to access this stunning location.

A unique and magnificent mountain lake, located at the foot of the Dent du Midi, with breathtaking views of the majestic Valais mountains. The lake is accessible by many routes, and you can access it via high-quality multi-use trails - just be sure to watch out for hikers! The banks of the lake are home to some interesting constructions - with arches and stone sculptures.

An artificial, but beautiful, lake perched in the mountains above the Marécottes ski resort. The lake is a popular place due to its ease of access and the large number of hiking, running and mountain biking trails that start from this location. The lake is located below the large, rocky and imposing Dents du Midi. It is equipped with a small refreshment bar, offering an opportunity to refuel before or after a long run in these magnificent mountains.

If you want to reach the reservoir you have to climb the steep mountain road up to a 28% gradient, but at the top you will be rewarded with a great panorama.

Located at an altitude of 1925 m in a magnificent glacial cirque, the artificial lake of Salanfe is surrounded by the Dents-du-Midi, the Tour Salière and the Luisin. By bike, the easiest access is via the Van valley. The climb is very steep, but on a wide road (for a bike...) without technical difficulty.
