The Wildstrubelhütte is an alpine hut located at 2,789 meters above sea level in the Wildstrubel massif in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. Operated by the Wildhorn and Kaiseregg sections of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC), it offers 68 beds in a cozy atmosphere with wood-panelled interiors. The facility has a bouldering room and dog kennels, making it ideal for experienced hikers, ski tourers and mountaineers. The hut can be reached with an easy 1.5-hour walk from the Plaine Morte funitel. The location offers views of the Rawil region and the Wildhorn glacier world.

Beautiful area. Surrounded by the Wysshore, Glacier de la Plaine Morte and Rohrbachstei. Complete hike around the Wildhorn possible. Descent to Iffigeralp or hike to Cabane des Audannes or to the Wildhorn hut via Lac de Téné and Schnidehore

Drinking water costs 5 francs per liter, then free in the morning.

A classic Swiss Alpine mountain cabin, with an equally classic view. The hut is a great place to take a coffee and cake break during a bike ride, or to enjoy something refreshing after a long day in the mountains. The cabin offers food, drinks and accommodation, allowing you to extend the adventure for a day if you don't want it to end so soon.
