All three lakes are beautiful and have a wonderful atmosphere. However, the Oberer Landschitzsee is truly special. The path there follows a stream that winds its way through the stones, gently babbling. Here, the rugged, wild, and romantic side of the Lungau region becomes clearly visible.

Approx. 2 hours, partly steep, partly forest road

Lake Prebersee lies at an elevation of 1,514 meters in the middle of a moorland and nature reserve. It covers approximately 5.4 hectares and is up to 10 meters deep. Its dark brown, peaty water is particularly notable.

🏞 Location & Overview The Prodinger Hut is located at an elevation of approximately 1,734 meters at the foot of the Preber peak and is an important stopover on the way to the Preberhalter Hut and further to the Preber peak (2,740 meters). The hut is primarily an unmanned alpine pasture or self-catering station. There is no regular catering; guests must bring their own snacks and drinks.

Highly recommended for a quiet walk with family.
