Well, here we are, sitting comfortably on the bench, gazing out over the lake and letting ourselves be enchanted by its beauty. The sun is shining, and the waves are lapping gently in the distance, while the little dances on the water glitter, as if the sky above had scattered its most beautiful stars. Just look at how the vibrant colors swirl. There are yellow ducks, rocking to the rhythm of the waves, and a few blue fish, nimbly dancing around the swans' legs. And the wind is rustling through the trees, as if whispering in our ears: "Take a little rest!" The flowers on the shore are blooming in the wildest colors of red, purple, and orange. It's as if nature itself has taken a paintbrush and painted everything with a joyful stroke. It seems to me as if the whole world has stood still for a moment, and only this spectacle matters. Sitting here and watching, you forget the worries of everyday life. Every little glimmer on the water's surface tells its own story. It's amazing how much joy nature can bring to present itself. So let's stay here a while longer and enjoy life to the fullest. Cheers to the beauty that surrounds us!

The pond is beautiful, sure. But with the view behind it of the mountains around Pöllau, including Pöllauberg Abbey... it's perfect.

The "Nature experience - Hartberger Gmoos" gives insights into the local natural diversity. Europe-wide endangered and therefore protected species such as the blue buffalo, the kingfisher, the red-backed shrike or the greater mouse-eared bat find a home here.

Be careful with the bridge ... you can easily overlook the step .... AUA;)

Nice pond at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. Unfortunately the beautiful big trees were felled!

The Hartberger Gmoos is a natural recreation area and retreat for numerous plant and animal species. It is designated as a European conservation area because it is the last large wetland area in Eastern Styria. Here you can see storks walking across the meadows and hear the frogs croak in the evening.

The beautiful Freizeitbadeseeanlage offers approximately 8,500 m² swimming area, has two beach volleyball courts, a Nemo children's pool and a children's playground. There is also a café / restaurant where you can fortify yourself on the way (after you have cooled down). The day ticket costs 5 euros (3.50 euros reduced), for the small hop in the water at the end of the bike ride's dinner card for 2.50 euros (2 euros reduced).
