Riaño, known as the "new Riaño," rises next to the reservoir that bears its name, surrounded by spectacular mountains in the heart of the León mountains. It is a picturesque and strategic location for exploring the surrounding peaks and valleys, as well as the Picos de Europa.

This building in Leon, known as "Casa Botines," takes us back to the late 19th century. Designed by the still-famous and esteemed architect Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926), it was originally conceived and built as a residential and commercial building, but now serves as a museum.

The Mirador de Orellán is a spectacular observation point located in the town of Orellán, in the municipality of Borrenes, León. This viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views of the cultural landscape of Las Médulas, an ancient Roman gold mining complex declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Near the viewpoint, you can visit the underground galleries that were part of the Roman gold mining system. Entry costs €3 and a helmet with headlamp is provided for the visit.

The Cathedral is undoubtedly the symbol of the city and its history dates back to the 10th century. The royal palace of Ordoño II was located on the old thermal baths and public buildings that the Legion VII had built in the mid-2nd century. In 917, after defeating the Arabs in the battle of San Esteban de Gormaz, the king, “thankful to God”, gave up his residence so that the first cathedral temple could be built there.

Villamanín is a small town in the region of La Tercia on the N-630 national road. At the source of the Bernesga River on the valley route between León and Gijón.

The Ermita Nuestra Señora del Valle is a beautiful chapel located in Buiza, near La Pola de Gordón. It is a historical site with a rich religious significance for the community. The chapel is dedicated to Our Lady of the Valley and offers a peaceful and serene place to enjoy nature.

Cultural and Religious Heritage: La Pola de Gordón has a number of historic churches and chapels, such as the Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso and the Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Celada, which are worth a visit for their architecture and history.
