Done on September 2024, actually much more difficult than S2/S3, for sure S4 in some parts. Some parts not doable on the bike, and some others were not doable that day because of the thick mud. But honestly I would choose another way around this trail next time.

This route is not suitable for a beginner as there is mostly no path after the forest to the Balisa Pass

Shop, car park (CHF 5.-/day in summer) (motorhomes authorized for paid nights), WC, pump track (green / rather scooters). Transportable mountain bike in the cabins.

Find the trail great to improve, because in most places where a lot of technology is gordert not so much can happen, because it is not exactly steep down next to the trail.

Very nice single trail, which is a bit blocked, but is largely drivable with good driving technique (S2, in places S3).

Nice root trail and additional boards passages. Accessible on both sides. Be careful in wet weather -> risk of slipping.

The entrance to the gorge down to Le Géringo Baches is S2 (S3) class. Arrived at the bottom - wonderful trail down to Marsens. All levels of difficulty. Be careful - cruising is difficult in certain places.
