Here, AI told us we'd missed the turnoff 🙈 so we went back and... who knows when someone had been here before, because even with hikers, the trail is apparently not that popular: extremely steep and rooty, you can't really see it through the leaves, and it's very overgrown... since there's a staircase nearby, hikers tend to use it more. Since my "pack leader" was of the opinion "there's no such thing as can't be done" or "if it can't be done, you'll have to push it," we struggled up it 🙈 after that, it was fine, and here, too, there are numerous unplanned trails 🙃 you just need to choose a different route/access 😉

The kids can let off steam while the adults relax at the beach club next door.

Hidden behind the sports field there is a great up & down route for testing MTB skills. Nothing for professionals, but a very nice change. In winter it's a great toboggan run and there are beautiful views for free.

A beautiful MTB trail leads along the eastern side of the bistro. Coming from Hohenhorn, it is initially a single trail, which is quite narrow in between, but becomes wider later and leads up and down over tree roots through beautiful unspoiled nature. It's fun to bike there - this route is not so suitable for “normal” bicycles. The route along the western side of the bistro is wider and easier to drive.

This is a very nice little trail with creative jumps every now and then. You then come to a curve next to the road where it goes straight downhill, don't drive there. Just keep driving and look at Komoot 😉 The end of the trail is marked on Komoot
