An artificially created dam runs along Klosterstrasse, damming the Piepenbek to the house moat or school pond. There is an avenue of old linden trees and a gnarled oak tree, which is protected as a natural monument. Under these trees on the east side, the former school path runs towards the “Old School”, which shimmers through the foliage north of the pond and was used as a primary school until 1972.
