The complex consists of several fortifications, including a circular wall with an outer diameter of approximately 100 x 90 meters at the northern end of the ridge and three slightly arched cross-walls that closed off the southern access side. The complex is protected as an archaeological monument.

Super nice people with great tips. A real recommendation here is to rent a canoe or kayak. There are tours to the water hiking rest stop 8 km away, to Demmin or a 5-day tour on offer. The rental takes care of the return transport. Individual paddling is also offered.

The Peenetal is worth a visit at any time of the year!

Without these observation towers, it is very difficult to observe the many waterfowl. Here, too, the water has receded noticeably.
