The zigzag path on the Potzberg, also known as the Presidential or Snake Path, leads up the mountain in several switchbacks and offers a pleasant incline thanks to its serpentine route. The path owes its name to its characteristic course and the fact that high-ranking visitors, including presidents, used to take this route to the summit.

Nice, flowing entry. Shortly after the quarry pond "Green Water" comes a technically demanding, steep staircase, or what is left of it. It's best to take it from the right. After the scree field there is another very steep section.

Unfortunately, no trail can be seen at this point, too much foliage and not enough MTBers. The forest roads and many narrow paths through the forest are still fun.
