Potzbergturmは、Föckelberg近郊（Kusel地区）の標高562メートルのPotzbergにある、高さ35メートルの砂岩造りの塔です。1951年に建設され（1952年7月13日落成）、プファルツの森からフォージェス山脈まで広がる景色を眺めることができ、人気の観光スポットとなっています。塔の隣には、野生動物公園、鷹匠ショー、ホテル・レストランがあります。Potzberg山の頂上に位置し、Föckelberg（Westpfalz）の近くにあり、Westpfalz、プファルツの森、そしてHunsrück/フォージェス山脈までのパノラマビューを提供しています。営業時間： 塔には特別な公式な閉館時間はありません。

📍 Agate Trail Freisen Right on the edge of the quarry stands a simple bench – overlooking what was once an active mining site. Today, silence reigns here. The contrast between the rugged rock faces and the tranquility of the moment makes this place special. Ideal for a short rest – with a panoramic view of space and time. 💡 Tip: A beautiful spot for a second breakfast, a deep photo, or simply for reflection. Those who sit here tend to stay a little longer.

The Potzberg Tower: The tower was built in 1952 and inaugurated on July 13, 1952. The climb up the 35 m high tower is worth it; once you get to the top you have a wonderful panoramic view. The viewing platform is open from March to October from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Potzberg hiking trail: Is also highly recommended; the length of the circular hiking trail can be individually adjusted; shortcuts are signposted for this.
