Anyone in Hannover-Kleefeld looking for a quick escape to nature will find themselves in the Eilenriede. This protected urban forest covers approximately 640 hectares and is divided into a northern and a southern section. The network of paths is well-developed and easy to navigate. Numerous benches, small ponds, and open clearings are located along the trails. The Eilenriede boasts around 80 km of hiking paths – perfect for a stroll during your lunch break or after work. In the Eilenriede, the city suddenly feels a world away.

Great place to let off steam with the mountain bike. Some hollows are not without for starters. 🤗

A lot of broken wood but still better than the horse-trampled path.

super nice to drive, currently only a tree trunk in the way. Everything else with good flow for Gravel / CX / MTB mobile.
