Beautiful trail for flowing...

Singletrack runs both at the top and bottom, wider in the middle section but interspersed with roots and washouts. The climb is quite steep, but relatively easy to manage with an e-MTB, as you don't need turbo (Bosch) or boost (Shimano) mode if you're reasonably fit. Going uphill on a mountain bike is certainly a very athletic challenge.

The path along the canal exudes the charm of a South Tyrolean irrigation canal path. The actual Gaisbach (one of the upper reaches of the Floß) flows below the canal diverted near the Gaismühle mill in the valley.

The sports and leisure center, operated by the Förderkreis SLZ Silberhütte e.V. (Swiss Alpine Skiing Association), offers cross-border cross-country skiing and biathlon trails, some of which are illuminated. The total length of the trails is approximately 50 kilometers, with varying levels of difficulty. Designated hiking, cycling, and mountain biking trails invite year-round use of the center on the border ridge between Bavaria and Bohemia.

Very quiet and lonely in summer, probably busier in winter. Restaurant currently closed (summer 2023).

Fun single trail through the coniferous forest, you can have a nice run there!
