The heathland in the area of the Bullensee is not particularly large, but it is beautiful to look at. The open spaces are densely covered with heather and a beautiful sandy path leads through. However, it tends to get a bit crowded here.

It is idyllically located in a forest and nature reserve and means relaxation and balance for many Rotenburgers: the large Bullensee.
