Nature reserve since 1979

Wildmoos is worth a visit at any time of year. It's always surprising how few people go there—you rarely meet anyone even a few hundred meters from Jexhof. A very special atmosphere arises when you walk there just before sunset.

It is right on the path and can be viewed. A little further on there is a bench for a break and a beautiful little pond. There are also two very old oak trees here.

The farm is known for its impressive oak trees, which are over 300 years old, and the small, Romanesque chapel of St. Vitus. This chapel, which is surrounded by a churchyard wall, was already mentioned in the 13th century and is an important cultural heritage of the region.

The rail parts and sleepers used are from the former peat railway. The meMOORial is reminiscent of intensive peat mining as heating or insulating material and for locomotive lighting.
