Beautiful natural swimming lake directly on the new Schillingsfürst-Dombühl bike path. Free admission, changing rooms and restrooms available. Wonderfully soft water for those who enjoy chlorine-free swimming. Open from Whitsun to mid-September with temperatures from 20 degrees Celsius. There's also a small kiosk, run voluntarily by members of the Fischhausbad Friends Association.

Since the Klingenbrunnen east of Weikersholz in the municipality of Rot am See is the highest continuously flowing spring, it has been considered the actual origin of the Tauber since 1976. Very close to nature. Admission against donation. near Kommot, the D9 cycle path will still run along here in summer 2023. On site, however, it will probably be switched to a different route.
