The nature reserve is fed by the sea water of the North Sea. It was set up in 1985. You can find out more about the Kronenloch in the NABU National Park House. The Dellbrück megalithic tomb is a megalithic tomb from the Neolithic funnel beaker culture near Dellbrück, a district of Bargenstedt in the Dithmarschen district. It bears the Sprockhoff number 152. Excavations took place shortly before 1850 and again in 1917, but there are no publications on them.
