Great, really flowing trail on the Finsterberg. Some roots. Difficulty level S1-S1+. Please watch out for hikers as you are on the Rennsteig hiking trail here.

I rode the section from Schmücke towards Rennsteig station: great fun - with a slight downhill, ideal for "flying over" (it was deserted, as it was already after 6 p.m.)

As the owner and operator of the Oberhof sports facilities, the Thuringian Winter Sports Center Association with the Thuringian Olympic Training Center is responsible for providing the conditions for Thuringia's elite and junior athletes in seven Olympic winter sports disciplines. The Thuringian Winter Sports Center hosts the skiing disciplines of biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and ski jumping, as well as the three runner disciplines of bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton.
