But a walk or jog in the evening sunset is of course just as romantic. The cliffs in Nienhagen are experiencing an unstoppable, constant decline due to nature. The reason for this is the phenomenon of steep slopes with high slope stability. This type of cliffs otherwise only includes cliff sections on the Bay of Lübeck, on the island of Poel, Fischland and the Wittow peninsula on Rügen: a special natural phenomenon!
