小さくて美しい展望台からは、野原の良い眺めが楽しめます。2つの展望台があり、例えば鳥の観察に最適です。

A very nice observation station for observing water birds in the Lippe meadows. The area itself is a paradise for wildlife. Since there are car parking spaces right next to the station, on nice days it can happen that all the "window seats" are occupied by photographers with tripods and long telephoto lenses. Immediately at the station there is also an occupied stork's nest.

Observation tower with a good view of the nature reserve, unfortunately the upper platform is currently not accessible due to vandalism and rotten wood.

The Ahsewiesen observation tower is very beautiful and offers many information boards and a very nice view. So that you don't disturb the animals and plants too much. It is therefore good to have small binoculars with you on your bike tours. It hardly takes up any space in the luggage bag 🚴😎

From the 9 meter high observation tower on the eastern edge of the Ahsewiesen you have a great view over the "Ahsewiesen" nature reserve. The tower was built as part of the Auenland nature experience project. The Ahsewiesen are an important resting and breeding area for waders and waterfowl.

The former quarry is located in Beckum, a short distance from the Werse river, next to Ahlener Straße. It's now also known as the "Blue Lagoon." A very nice spot where you can relax.
