It's a lovely place to go for a walk. However, the main path is a combined cycle and footpath, so you can't really walk side by side as there are always cyclists on the road. That's a real shame.

The three lakes (Lower Lake, Middle Lake, and Upper Lake) offer beautiful, tranquil natural surroundings. Many water birds (ducks, swans, and geese) can be observed here, providing numerous photographic opportunities. Several benches invite you to linger and enjoy nature. Simply let it all sink in and unwind.

Especially at the time of flowering a dreamlike colorful landscape, but also otherwise a great hiking area.

A wonderful distant view is offered from this mountain (hill), the Telegrafenberg.

When walking around the lake, we encountered anglers again and again, who usually answered the greeting "Petri Heil" in a friendly manner with "Petri Dank".

Beautiful place on the water. ..... no, you are not allowed to swim here or put an inflatable boat into the water, this is a nature reserve.

Can be easily circumnavigated in 20 minutes.
