The city park is in the heart of the new town and was created as part of the State Garden Show (2004). The city park with play mountains in the new town can be described as almost unique. Here you will find cozy, romantic seating in a park that invites you to take a walk and rest in the middle of a green oasis. The Burghausen Bräugartl is one of the most idyllic corners of the city. Located in the old town directly on the high bank of the Salzach, the enchanted little park with its fruit trees and the slowly babbling Moosbach offers its visitors the peace and relaxation they desire. The Weidmoos nature reserve is the habitat of hundreds of birds. There is a one and a half kilometer long themed trail through the area - but you should leave your bike behind and walk the route.
