As a pass, the Kreuzberg is rather unspectacular. There is no view here, and there is not much to linger on. It is more of a transit pass that connects the two valleys. Coming from Hermagor, it is a very long climb that becomes tough at the end. Coming from Greifenburg, it is very tough, especially after Pobersach/Waisach, it is just miserably steep with over 15% towards the turnoff to the very beautiful Weissensee. This means that there is a lot of traffic, especially on the northern slope - both downhill and uphill. Sports cars are also often tested here, so there can be some tricky situations here too. Better than driving early in the morning or later in the day when the excursion traffic has passed. Otherwise, it is mostly good asphalt!

The pass only has this steepness on the downhill side...not if you are approaching from the direction of Rattendorf. From there it is about 12 km of incline in waves 😉👍. Have fun

Just beautiful! If you are ever in Carinthia you should go up here. The path to the summit is easy to walk on and an alpine hut offers delicious snacks and beer 😉

The hiking trails from the south to Latschur converge at the Stoisa saddle. Here you hike over green alpine meadows with a view of the summit and the Gailtal Alps. You can immerse yourself in nature completely undisturbed and continue the hike to Latschur, which takes just over an hour.

Very nice hike over the Martenock - Goldeck - Seetalnock. The Goldeck Ridge requires a little more surefootedness and a head for heights, but everyone should be able to assess that for themselves.

A saddle in the forest that connects Hermagor (Gailtal) in the south and Greifenburg (Drautal) in the north. The southern ascent is well developed with good road quality and is easy to drive with pleasant inclines. The north ascent, on the other hand, unfortunately has somewhat poorer road conditions and is sometimes significantly steeper. Anyone who drives the route should definitely make a detour to the beautiful Weissensee!
