A nice circular tour around the Anninger and through the well-known wine towns of Gumpoldskirchen, Thallern and Pfaffstätten. The Thallern route is a varied mountain bike circular tour in the Vienna Woods, which leads for around 39 kilometers through idyllic wine towns, dense forests and rolling hills. With a mix of asphalt, gravel and forest paths, the tour offers both riding fun and impressive views of the rolling hills of the Vienna Woods. A really beautiful part of this route, but you should be careful in the autumn when the deeply dug path is full of leaves and you can easily miss branches and stones. And you don't want to have a technical breakdown up there.

Quite challenging in both directions, especially the rocky part. It rumbles well downhill and requires trial skills uphill.

I'd definitely prefer the downhill section here 😅 But it's certainly interesting as an uphill climb too; the lowest switchbacks are always part of it anyway 😁

Yes, Mtbrat, MTB also consists of driving difficult, almost impossible places up and not just down 😊. And meanwhile, I've also driven through the upper rocky passage (happy) ... With the bio-bike, of course. Allegedly everyone can do it with an e-bike, many claim. 😉

So normally you don't go up here, but down! Very great flow trail that you can drive quickly until you get to the switchbacks that you can drive through very well and also practice your cornering technique very well.

This is really an amazing trail: it's a mix of flow parts, combined with segments full of stones that could be more technical (but very few and not very steep in my opinion) or more flow, that somehow you can manage at high speed. And this mix really surprised me, because since the first try i was able to managed it at quite high speed (at least for me); i really enjoyed it and i already planned to do it again this week.
