A beautifully designed viewing platform is located directly on the water. From here, you have a phenomenal view of the Weidmoos bird paradise. By the way: you're not allowed to cycle all the way here. So leave your bike at the bike rack and walk a few meters.

The Weidmoos nature reserve is the habitat of hundreds of birds. There is a one and a half kilometer long themed trail through the area - but you should leave your bike behind and walk the route. The Warstein is a real knockout. The stone is 700 meters long, 80 meters wide and 50 meters high in the landscape and protrudes into the lake. You can cycle around it or take a break and climb up briefly. At the top you will find the Warstein Chapel on the west side or you can enjoy the view of the lake all the way to the northern Limestone Alps from the Steinspitz.
