The Zillertal Arena is the largest ski area in the Zillertal and extends over the towns of Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Königsleiten, Wald and Krimml/Hochkrimml, from Tyrol's Zillertal to Salzburg's Pinzgau.

A hike in Gerlos to the Isskogel is a very nice alternative to hiking with a great view

Just put your bike on the train and off you go. At the top you can return to Gerlos along the wonderful panorama trail, or take a detour to the Kreuzwiesenalm.

There is a large car park right next to the Isskogelbahn. In addition, there is a ski rental in winter and a rental of downhill bikes for the bike park in summer. If you are hungry or not, you can eat very well at Luigi's next to the parking lot (and celebrate après-ski downstairs in the winter 😀 )
