On hot days it's nice to walk through the forest. But steeply uphill and with coarse gravel, the path is very strenuous. Surefootedness is required. Once at the top, a great panorama of the mountains opens up. The path then to the Mitterhaus runs slightly upwards and is easy to walk due to the asphalt road. The way back on the other side of Ostrach is more pleasant for the descent because it goes down the road for a long time. Before Café Horn, turn right into the forest and past a water reservoir back into the valley to Bruck. This forest path is great to walk.

S1 to S2 are combined. A total of 3 routes that are shared after the common start sequence. Unfortunately a bit short, but very well maintained and laid out (2020). If you are in the area anyway, I would definitely not travel there for that reason.

The mountain station of the Iseler Bahn is at an altitude of 1559 m. Unfortunately there is neither a restaurant nor a toilet here. Here is the starting point for numerous hikes on and around the Iseler Grat.

The MÜHLWALDTRAILS in the Tannheimer Tal contain three trails that all start at the same starting point and come together again at the end. The PONTENLINE meanders through the Mühlwald with numerous tight curves and waves. The ZIRLESECKLINE and ROHNENELINE are technically more demanding with roots, stones and steps.
