Very nice, but also busy...

Kirchberg in Tirol is a beautiful little place in the Kitzbühel Alps that offers everything we could wish for in summer and winter. The traditional architecture and tourist infrastructure make the place a highlight for cyclists, also because of the good connection to the railway network.

One of the most beautiful flow trails far and wide. No train goes up here. As a result, it is much less frequented and impresses with a very natural trail and magnificent panoramas.

Very nice trail not too violent, a few passages are to be enjoyed with caution but otherwise really great and fun. unfortunately much too short...

The way to SunTrail is a bit strenuous. But you will be rewarded with great residents etc. in the lower section.

The Markbachjoch is located at an altitude of 1500 meters. The ride with the 8-person gondola from the valley station in Niedereau center takes only 8 minutes. (Free with the WildschönauCard) Various hikes start from the mountain station. For those who want to take a short walk, a walk to the small Markbachjoch church (Markbachjochkapelle) is a good option. The Markbachjoch offers a beautiful view of the Wildschönau valley, the Wilder Kaiser with its steep mountains and the Rofan Mountains. There are usually many paragliders to be seen at the starting point of the “Flugschule Wildschönau”. "Fly2" also offers tandem flights from the Markbachjoch.
