You actually have a great view of the Tennengebirge from everywhere in this part of the Tauern cycle path. The Tennengebirge is a mountain group in the Northern Limestone Alps in the Austrian state of Salzburg.

There are many great opportunities for hiking and biking here 👌 everyone gets their money's worth here.

There is no cyclist-friendly route to or from the Arthurhaus. So be careful on this route!

Long uncomfortable climb for cyclists

Is an ideal place for hiking. It doesn't matter whether it's short, e.g. on the Mitterfeldalm, medium on the Hochkeil and extremely long and difficult on the Hochkönig. The Kashittn is always worth a visit. You will also be served well on the Mitterfeldalm. Kaiserschmarrn is sensational.

Rise from the direction of Bischofshofen on the part of the incline medium at the beginning, then easier and the most demanding in the last third. If you manage your strength well, the ascent is a lot of fun. And about 100-200m after the saddle is a rest area with drinking water to refuel.
