The trail is currently listed by Komoot as one of "The 20 Top Bike Parks in Upper Austria". That's complete nonsense, of course. Beware!

It's simply not possible to ride uphill. If you like pushing and carrying your bike, this is the place for you. And if you're particularly masochistic, you can lug your e-bike up here. 😉

I can only confirm the difficulty! Right now there is so much foliage on the difficult part of the trail that you can hardly see the stones and roots underneath. Extremely washed out!

driving is difficult, better push

Absolutely awesome trail! The first (short) section is a bit more challenging to ride (larger stones + roots). The remaining sections are pure flow trail fun. Great hairpin bends and small jumps. The route was in very good condition.

Loose gravel and rubble made it difficult to drive, not pleasant but possible.

Difficult MTB - Enduro trail / hiking trail - you should have the necessary experience, the right equipment and above all the necessary courage 😎 Attention: According to the Komoot Premium map, there is a red trail here as well as an alternative (MTB route). However, it is a hiking trail that splits into two after the first third into a hiking trail and a quicksand-like gravel track! In places the ground is very steep, blocked and loose. Be prepared for slippery passages. Not for 😨🐇!

Be careful with e-MTBs or e-trekking bikes: The Fahrnberg trail is completely washed out in parts, and as a woman you can hardly get the heavy e-MTBs over the rocky and extremely slippery areas! The rest of the tour is a breeze. It is irresponsible to describe the tour as generally “moderately difficult”, a warning notice for the trail is absolutely necessary!
